Lashes and brows do more for your face than almost anything else on the menu, so we treat them as a craft in their own right. We now offer eyelash extensions, applied one lash at a time and mapped to your eye shape, alongside the Korean lash lift and tint, brow lamination, and brow tinting our guests already book on repeat. Everything here is customized, from the curl and length of your extensions to how much your brows get filled and shaped.

  • Eyelash extensions, applied individually and mapped to your eye shape
  • A Korean lash lift and tint for a low-maintenance, no-refill option

Lash Mapping, Application and Brow Design

Eyelash extensions start with a map, not a tray. Your artist studies your eye shape, the length and health of your natural lashes, and how open you want the eye to look, then designs a pattern that places longer lashes where they lift and shorter ones where they define. Each extension is bonded to a single natural lash, never to the skin and never to a neighboring lash, which is what keeps the set comfortable and protects your own lashes underneath.

If extensions feel like too much upkeep, a Korean lash lift and tint may be a better fit. It curls your own lashes from the base and darkens them, lasting six to eight weeks with no refills and no daily adjustment. On the brow side, lamination redirects hairs upward and holds them there, filling gaps and creating a fuller, brushed-up shape for brows that grow in patchy or flat. A brow tint darkens the fine hairs most people cannot see, so the shape reads fuller without a pencil. Many guests pair lamination and tint together, and adding a facial waxing service in the same visit finishes the shape cleanly, or a skincare facial beforehand so the skin is calm before any tint is applied.

Lash and Brow Care Through an Iowa City Year

Humidity is the enemy of a fresh lash set. Steam, sweat, and heat all weaken the adhesive while it is still curing, which is why we ask you to keep the set dry for the first 24 to 48 hours and skip saunas and hot yoga during that window. Iowa summers make this more relevant than it sounds. Winter brings the opposite problem, where dry indoor air and constant eye rubbing during allergy season pull extensions off early. A daily lash cleanser and a spoolie run through your lashes each morning will get you noticeably more life out of a set.

Plan on refills every two to three weeks for extensions, and six to eight weeks for a lift or lamination. Book two to three weeks ahead during graduation and wedding season, and coordinate with our bridal beauty team if the appointment is part of a wedding timeline.
